Yamuna House Captain

I joined DPS Dehradun in 2021 as a student of class 9th. i remember my first HRT Mr. Devendra Tripathi sir helped me grow into the DPS society and adjust to the new school. His mentoring has been a great support in my academic life and personal life as well. My current HRT  Mrs. Nishu Nema ma’am who i have had the pleasure of being taught by for the last 2 years has helped me understand academics and lessen its burden by being a positive force in all of our lives. I am grateful to all my teachers who have been great mentors in my life and have moulded me into a better student and a better human being as well. i will always cherish my short but very impactful and blissful experience i have shared with the DPS family.

I joined DPS Dehradun in 2021, during lockdown, as a ninth grader with Vasudha Ma'am as my class teacher.  It was a time of uncertainty but the school welcomed me with warmth. At first it was difficult for me to adjust to the new surroundings, as it always is, but gradually when the school reopened I made new friends and thus started the journey of making the best memories and receiving the best experiences. I still remember how our vice principal ma’am Ms. Sujata Singh and Pooja ma’am set examples on what it truly means to be a strong independent woman and how we should embrace our identity with pride . I had always been interested in art and the teachers, Srishti ma'am and Sakshi ma'am, taught me and supported me through every competition. They encouraged the creative spirit in me and I am forever grateful for it. DPS has given me some of the best memories and experiences, from virtual learning to real-world opportunities. The school has equipped me with the courage to make my way in the outside world and face the challenges that come with it. Even though my time here was limited, I am deeply grateful that I  became a part of the DPS family and indeed for the memories, experiences, opportunities , knowledge and the guidance that I received and I will always cherish the moments I've spent here.
