Extraordinary Results of Classes X and XII

INTERNATIONAL MATHS OLYMPIAD -2023

The achievement curve of DPS, Dehradun took a proud height on receiving the exceptional
International Positions in IMO, organized by Mathematics Olympiad Foundation, Govt. of NCT,
Delhi. Two students of our school were conferred with “Ramanujan Award” for their outstanding
performance in the field of mathematics. Master Kushagra of Class V secured the first rank and a
Cash Prize of Rs. 11,000 along with Master Aashvik Rathore of Class VII, secured the third rank
and a Cash Prize of Rs.1500 in the event. The Management and Principal Shri B K Singh blessed
the students and congratulated Maths department for their tremendous efforts in bringing out the
potential of the children.
Principal Shri B K Singh and Mr Alok Bhui were also invited to be felicitated by the Maths
Olympiad Foundation for their outstanding contribution in the field of mathematics.

Inspire-Manak Award - 2023-24.

'Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research' (INSPIRE) scheme is one of the flagship programmes of the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India The INSPIRE Awards - MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge), being executed by DST with National Innovation Foundation – India (NIF), an autonomous body of DST, aims to motivate students studying in classes 6 to 10.
All the students have been endowed with an INSPIRE award of Rs 10,000/ each, enabling them to further participate in District Level Exhibition and Project Competitions (DLEPCs) organized by District Education Authority under DST.

Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan is a national level science talent search examination conducted by the Government of India for classes VI to XI (Med & Non-Med discipline).
We are thrilled to announce a momentous achievement by one of our brilliant students! ARKAPRABHA MANDAL, a talented student from Grade 11 A, who has emerged as the State Level Winner of the prestigious Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan Talent Search Examination 2023-24. He is among 18 students selected from Uttarakhand state to participate in Level -IV (Nationals).

Hindustan Olympiad-2023

It's a matter of immense pleasure that Miss Vanshika Raghuvanshi of class XII E participated in the Hindustan Olympiad-2023, one of the most prestigious olympiads of India and emerged victorious by becoming the State Topper. She has been conferred with badge, trophy and a cash prize of Rs 5100/-. This victory serves as an inspiration to all our students, motivating them to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits and extracurricular activities. It also brings honor and recognition to our school on a broader scale. Management & Principal Shri B K Singh appreciated her for the astounding performance and encouraged the students to exhibit exemplary dedication and determination in their preparation for the Olympiads and other competitive exams.

Celebrating Academic Excellence: Felicitation of High Achieving Students

Graphic Era Deemed to be University in collaboration with ‘Amar Ujala’“Bhavisya Jyoti ‘hosted the 'Achievers' Felicitation Ceremony' on 10th August, 2023, to recognise the students for their dedication, hard work, and outstanding performance.The felicitation ceremony was organized to celebrate the remarkable gradesof students who have set benchmarks in the academic achievementsin the session 2022-2023, comprising the achievers of 10th and 12th.

128 of our students from class 10th and 175 students from class 12th were felicitated along with several other students from different renowned schools of the city.

Each of these students was called upon the stage and awardeda certificateand medal for their outstanding performance. The pride and joy on their face wasvisible, as they were applauded by their peers, teachers, and parents.

The ceremony was a resounding success, reiterating the school's commitment to nurturing both academic and personal growth. The event showcased the dedication of our students and the collaborative effort of teachers, parents, and the entire school community.

Principal Shri B K Singh appreciated every one and emphasized the importance of continued effort, passion, and embracing challenges in one's academic journey.

Inter School Recitation

Poetry is the core of literature.

To spread the fragrance of poetry amongst the students, "Time to Rhyme", an Inter School Recitation Competition was organised by The Oasis School on 12th May 2023, in which our little dipsites also participated both in individual and group category. Malay Tripathi from class V bagged 1st prize in the Fifth Individual Recitation Category whereas Group 1, Group 2 and Group 5 bagged second position in the Group Recitation Category. The winners were applauded and praised for their capabilities and incredible performance.

CBSE X and XII Board Examinations

It's a gratifying moment for the entire DPS Dehradun fraternity to see the students having done tremendously well in CBSE X and XII board examinations. All India 14th Rank in UCEED

Adding another feather in the crown of DPS Dehradun, we are immensely proud to share  that Arjun Chawla, the topper of Science stream in class XII Board examinations, has achieved yet another breakthrough in the path of his accomplishments. He has secured All India 14th Rank in UCEED ( Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination in Design) and  bagged a seat in IIT Bombay. The PVC Mrs Shashi Singh, the School Management, Principal Mr. B.K. Singh congratulated Arjun for the remarkable achievement, blessed him and wished him the very best for all his future endeavours. Arjun and his elated parents expressed their gratitude to DPS fraternity for the unstinting support and encouragement.

Sanskrit Saptah Mahotsav

राज भवन देहरादून उत्तराखंड में दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल देहरादून के छात्रों ने दी गीता पाठ संस्कृत श्लोक उच्चारण की अद्भुत प्रस्तुति ।

कल दिनांक 8-8-2022 को राजभवन देहरादून उत्तराखंड में संस्कृत सप्ताह महोत्सव कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया था । जिसमें दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल देहरादून के छात्रों को गीता पाठ संस्कृत श्लोक उच्चारण प्रस्तुति हेतु आमंत्रित किया गया था । उपरोक्त कार्यक्रम में विद्यालय के छात्रों ने अति उत्तम एवं प्रभावी प्रस्तुति देकर उपस्थित गणमान्य जनों को भाव विभोर कर दिया । छात्रों की प्रस्तुति को मुख्य अतिथि राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल गुरमीत सिंह

NEET EXAM-2022

Charchit Kuletha and Harshit  Sharma of 2022 batch and Rehbar Ullaha Khan of 2021 batch added yet another feather in the Cap of Delhi Public School Dehradun by performing outstandingly well in NEET, 2022. Charchit and Harshit Cracked the NEET Exam scoring 621 and 590 Marks out of 720. And Rehbar scored 595 out of 720. The boys had done outstandingly well in the boards also, securing 97 and 96 percent respectively.  They emphasised the importance of finding the right strategy that works best for a student individually. Proper planning and focus on NCERT books as well as positive attitude, helped them to achieve the same. A large part of success, they said is putting in the time each and every day. It comes from sitting down at your desk to work and keeping up with the daily grind. You can gain a lot from a consistent effort . IIT JEE Advanced

"Success doesn't come to you, you have got to go to it."
Dps Dehradun proudly proclaims that Nakshatra Singh, Anmol Uniyal and Dhananjay Varshney (2022 batch) have been qualified in IIT JEE Advanced. Nakshatra has secured  CRL 12843 with a score of 84/90, Anmol has secured  CRL 22307 rank with a score of 64/90 and Dhananjay has secured CRL 62536. Proper planning, vigorous revision, focus on NCERT books and positive attitude have helped them to attain the same.
The school management, Principal Mr B K Singh and Vice principal Mrs Sujata Singh congratulated the students and wished them all luck to accomplish their goals in future.

India School Ranking Award-2022

It is a proud moment to receive trophy and certificate of appreciation from renowned personalities at Leela Ambience Gurugram along with our trustee Ms. Anumeha Singh on October 11,2022.  Our school Delhi Public School Dehradun has been declared as the Second Best Co-Ed Day School in all over Uttarakhand by Education World during the event of India School Ranking Award-2022 Congratulations to the school management and the entire team of DPS Dehradun.

Inter School English Debate Competition-2022

Students of Delhi Public School, Dehradun, participated in An Inter School English Debate Competition - 2022  on November 17, 2022, held at Marshall School, Dehradun. Students from various renowned schools of Dehradun participated in the Competition. The Speakers were judged on the basis of Content, Expressions, Diction, Confidence and Rebuttal. The Topic was “Indian Constitution Grants Equal Rights to Men and Women Both. Today Indian Woman Does Not Require Special Privileges and Reservation  To Prove Her Mettle”. A team of two students participated in the competition. Ms. Inu Agarwal (XI)and Master. Shivansh Badoni (XI) bagged the Second Position and won the Runners Up Trophy. The Principal Mr. B.K Singh congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of the Department of English for honing the skill of effective public speaking among their students.

Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav

It's a matter of great accolade that Rakshit Tyagi of class XI A was selected to participate in the programme "Participation of youth of our Country in paying homage to our National Leaders on their birth anniversary in the Parliament House" organised by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India in coordination with Parliamentary Research and Training Institute for Democracies (PRIDE).It was conducted on the birth anniversary of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya on December 25, 2022.

Rakshit was one among 150 students around India, selected on the basis of an Essay writing competition organised on the topic " Swadeshi to Aatmanirbhar" during Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav Govt. of India. 
The students went on a tour to Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha and Samadhi of Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Minister of External Affairs Shri Jay Shankar and Lok Sabha Speaker Shri Om Birla attended the function and paid  floral tributes to our National leaders in the Central Hall of Parliament.
Rakshit also gave a speech on "The life of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee".
School Management, Principal Shri B K Singh and Staff applauded Rakshit for his accomplishment.
