Maharathi International Open Rapid Chess Tournament
Soureen Chauhan of Class IV participated in the 2nd Maharathi International Open Rapid Chess Tournament in the Under-8 Boys category, held on 16th and 17th August 2025. Showcasing sharp intellect and excellent gameplay, he emerged as the 1st Runner-up and was awarded a cash prize of ₹4500. The Principal Shri B K Singh felicitated and congratulated him on his outstanding achievement, encouraging him to continue his pursuit of excellence in chess.
The All India Painting Competition, organized by SchoolsIndia, provided a wonderful platform for young artists to showcase their creativity and imagination. We are proud to share that our students participated in the competition with great enthusiasm and put forward impressive entries.

Ms. Aradhya Baloni, a Class VII student of Delhi Public School Dehradun, mesmerized the audience with her captivating *Kathak Performance* at the Virasat Mahotsav on 24th October 2024. Her skills in Kathak dance mesmerized everyone as she represented the traditional and cultural heritage that gives it the status of Indian classical dance. 12-year-old Ms. Aradhya won the hearts of the audience and mesmerized the crowd with her excellent performance. DPS Dehradun fraternity wishes her all the best for her future endeavours!!
Kalataru -2023, an Inter school Visual arts competition was held at The Oasis on 6th May 2023 and the students of Delhi public school Dehradun participated in various events under the guidance of Mr Roshan Mishra, the Art teacher Shruthi Asthana of class 8 secured 1st place in sculpture and Shrestha of class 10 secured 2nd position in painting. Principal Shri B K Singh appreciated the students for their achievement and conferred with the certificates and medals.
