Delhi Public School, Dehradun celebrated the **76th Constitution Day** on **26th November 2025** with great respect and patriotic spirit. A special assembly was organized to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution and to remind students of its enduring values. The programme began at **9:30 AM** with the melodious rendition of **“Vande Mataram,”** the National Song of India, sung by the school choir. The entire school participated with enthusiasm, creating an atmosphere filled with national pride. Following this, the **Preamble of the Constitution** was recited in unison by students and staff. Taking the Preamble as an oath reinforced the principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, which form the foundation of our democracy. To further enhance students’ understanding, a **short quiz on the Constitution** was conducted. The quiz aimed at increasing awareness about constitutional values, important articles, and the history behind the formation of the Constitution. Students actively participated and showcased great interest and knowledge. The Principal, **Shri B.K. Singh ji**, then addressed the gathering with an inspiring and enlightening speech. He emphasized the importance of the Constitution in guiding citizens, safeguarding their rights, and strengthening the nation. He urged students to uphold constitutional values in their daily lives and to grow into responsible and informed citizens.
