Report on Morning Assembly – Teachers’ Day (4th September 2025)
On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, a special morning assembly was conducted by the teachers on 4th September 2025. The event was gracefully hosted by Ms. Veena Chauhan and Mr. Mohd Saqib.
The programme began with the morning prayer, setting a serene and respectful atmosphere. This was followed by an inspiring English Thought presented by Dhaarna Ma’am. Shyamdhan Sir delivered a heartfelt Hindi Speech, while Tanuja Ma’am addressed the gathering with an enlightening speech. Kamar Sir presented the news headlines, keeping everyone updated with current affairs. To add a spark of enthusiasm, Gauri Ma’am conducted an engaging quiz, which was well received by the audience. Birthday wishes were also extended by the Teachers’ Choir, adding warmth and joy to the occasion.
A moment of great pride came when the achievements of the Taekwondo Team of DPS Dehradun were highlighted. The team excelled in the JMS Cup 2025 – 38th Interschool Taekwondo Championship, winning Gold and Silver medals. The winners included:
• Gold Medals – Shourya Bhatt, Raghav Rajput, Jayesh Rawat, Rajshree Bhatt, and Ishan
• Silver Medal – Atharv Gupta
The victorious students were honoured by the Principal Sir and Vice Principal Ma’am, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.
The assembly concluded with a motivating speech by the Principal Sir, who encouraged both teachers and students to continue striving for excellence.
The celebration truly reflected the spirit of Teachers’ Day – a day of gratitude, recognition, and inspiration
