I’m Alpish Kumar Singh, and I’m honored to serve as the Vice Captain of Ganges. I joined DPS Dehradun in 2019 as a class VII student. My journey at Delhi Public School has been filled with incredible opportunities, from participating in sports and academic competitions to working with my peers on various school projects. Through these experiences, I’ve learned the value of teamwork, resilience, and leadership. As Vice Captain, I’m excited to support our House, inspire others, and contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment. I look forward to helping make this a remarkable year for Ganges and our school community!

As a proud member of our student council, I am honored to express my deepest appreciation for our school—a place that goes beyond being just an institution of learning. It’s a vibrant community that shapes us not only as students but as individuals who are prepared to face the world with confidence, compassion, and courage.
Our school stands as a beacon of excellence, offering a diverse and inclusive environment where every student is encouraged to achieve their fullest potential. Thanks to the comprehensive curriculum that challenges and inspires, we are given every opportunity to grow both academically and personally.
Beyond academics, our school shines in the realm of extracurricular activities. The numerous clubs, sports teams, and cultural events allow us to discover our passions and hone our talents. We are encouraged to take on leadership roles, be innovative, and work as a team, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Our school's moto 'service before self' encourages us to inculcate values like respect, integrity, and service to the community into our day to day lives. We are taught the importance of kindness, empathy, and hard work—values that will guide us throughout our lives. The support and guidance we receive from our teachers, counselors, and administration ensure that we always have someone to turn to, whether we are striving for excellence or facing challenges.
I am grateful to be part of this institution that has given me the opportunity to grow, forge long-lasting friendships and become a better version of myself in the past two years I have spent in it. I encourage our successors to make the most of this fine institution and raise the name of our school even higher.
