VIBHUSHIT SEMWAL
XI E
I, Vibhushit Semwal of class 11-E, prefect of Chenab house, am honored to have gotten this position in the school council with all the faith shown in me. I joined DPS Dehradun in 2012 as a LKG student (Interview by our Honourable Principle Shri B.k Singh ji).Since then i have actively participated at every given chance and would continue to do even with this position at hand. With the position i have been given by the school authorities as the prefect of Chenab house i would partake along with my house members. I would stand up for the needs and requirements of all the students and not just my house members. My vision is to have a healthy environment for everyone. I would further like to meet the expectations under guidance of my teachers. In the end i would like to thank the school authorities for selecting me for the opportunity.

I'm honoured to serve as the Prefect for Chenab house this academic year. Having been part of our remarkable Delhi Public School Dehradun community since class 7, I can genuinely say that these years have shaped me in ways I never imagined. My journey here began during the challenging days of lockdown, but even through virtual classrooms, this school's warmth and spirit shone through. Despite the physical distance, my teachers and fellow students created such a welcoming environment that I felt like I belonged here from day one. The online activities, and study groups showed me just how committed our school is to fostering genuine connections, no matter the circumstances. This unique start to my school life made me appreciate even more the strong sense of community that defines us.
What makes our school truly special is its nurturing environment that celebrates individuality while fostering unity. From my first day here, I've witnessed how our school's unique blend of tradition and innovation creates well-rounded individuals. The countless opportunities – whether in science , on the sports field, or through the creative and cultural programs – have helped me and many others discover hidden talents and build lasting friendships. I'm particularly grateful for our school's 'Service Before Self' approach, which has taught us the true meaning of character, humility, and dedication to the greater good. It's inspiring to see how this philosophy shapes not just our academic lives, but our growth as responsible citizens.
The school's emphasis on both academic excellence and character development has taught me invaluable lessons about leadership, responsibility, and empathy. Throughout this journey I've learned that true leadership isn't just about directing others – it's about serving and uplifting those around you.
As a school council member , I aim to give back to the school that has given me so much. I'm particularly passionate about fostering a supportive environment where every student feels empowered to contribute to our house's legacy of excellence.
Together, let's continue the tradition of excellence that makes our school special, while creating new opportunities for everyone to grow and succeed.
